On iPhone and iPad
Open the X app and find the post with the video. Tap the Share icon and choose Copy link. Open Safari and go to nzlny.com. Tap Paste, then Download. Tap the download button, and confirm with Download when Safari asks. The file goes to the Files app, in Downloads. To move it to Photos, open Files, tap the video, then tap Share and choose Save Video.
On Android
In the X app, tap the Share icon under the post and choose Copy link. Open Chrome and go to nzlny.com. Tap Paste, then Download, then the download button. On Windows or Mac
Open the post on x.com in your browser. Click the post so it opens on its own page, then copy the address from the address bar. Open nzlny.com in a new tab, paste the link and click Download. Click the download button and the MP4 saves to your Downloads folder. Links that start with twitter.com work the same way, so you can also paste old links from bookmarks or emails.
Troubleshooting common errors
If nothing loads, check that the account is not protected. Protected accounts cannot be downloaded. Make sure the link points to the post that holds the video. If someone quoted a video, open the original post and copy that link instead. A deleted post means the link no longer works. If you only see a photo option, the post may have images and no video. On iPhone, look for saved files in the Files app under Downloads. If you are offline, reconnect and try again.
