Downloading a Facebook video with nzlny comes down to three steps: copy the link, paste it and pick HD or SD. Finding the link is the tricky part, because Facebook hides Copy link in different menus on phones and computers. This guide shows where to look on iPhone, Android and desktop, and where your video is saved afterwards.
How to download
Find Copy link under Share or the three dots on the video.
Paste it into nzlny and tap Download.
Choose HD or SD and save the MP4.
Facebook also has more privacy settings than other platforms. A video might be in a private group or shared with friends only, and those cannot be downloaded. The troubleshooting section explains how to tell if a video is public, what to do about short fb.watch links, and how to find a file that went to Files on iPhone.
Step-by-step guide
On iPhone and iPad
Open the Facebook app and find the video or Reel. Tap Share and choose Copy link. If you do not see it, tap the three dots on the post. Open Safari and go to nzlny.com. Tap Paste, then Download, then Download HD or Download video. Confirm with Download when Safari asks. The MP4 saves to the Files app, in Downloads. To put it in Photos, open Files, tap the video, tap Share and choose Save Video.
On Android
In the Facebook app, tap Share under the video and choose Copy link. Open Chrome and go to nzlny.com. Tap Paste, then Download, and pick HD or SD. The file saves to your Downloads folder and appears in your Gallery or Google Photos. You can also install nzlny from Chrome's menu with Install app or Add to Home screen. Then tap Share in Facebook, choose More or Share via, and select nzlny to send the link without copying it.
On Windows or Mac
Open the video on facebook.com. Click the time stamp under the poster's name, or open the video in its own window, so the address bar shows the video link. Copy that address. You can also use the three dots and Copy link. Open nzlny.com in a new tab, paste the link and click Download. Choose HD or SD and the MP4 saves to your Downloads folder. fb.watch links copied from chats work the same way.
Troubleshooting common errors
First, check that the video is public. Look at the small icon next to the post date. A globe means public. A people or lock icon means friends only or private, and nzlny cannot download it. Videos in private groups also cannot be saved. If the link came from a chat, make sure it was copied in full. A deleted video gives an error because it no longer exists. On iPhone, check the Files app under Downloads if the video seems to be missing.
Tips for better results
Choose HD when you plan to watch on a computer or TV, and SD when you want a smaller file on your phone. Use Wi-Fi for long videos, since HD files can be large. If the same video was posted on Instagram or TikTok, the original link there may give you more options, like MP3 sound on TikTok. Rename files after saving. Ask the page or person who posted the video before you share it elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions
How can I tell if a Facebook video is public?
Look next to the post date. A globe icon means public, so nzlny can download it. A people or lock icon means it is not public.
Where is my Facebook video on iPhone after downloading?
In the Files app, in the Downloads folder. Tap it, then Share and Save Video to add it to Photos.
Why does my fb.watch link fail?
The video may be private, deleted, or the link may be cut off. Copy it again in full and check that the video is public.
Can I download a video from a Facebook group?
Only from public groups where anyone can see the post. Videos in private groups cannot be downloaded.
Should I choose HD or SD?
HD looks sharper on big screens. SD is smaller, downloads faster and saves storage on your phone.
