  • No sign-up No account, no app, no login.
  • No files kept Files pass through nzlny without being saved. We keep only basic usage stats.

To download an Instagram Reel on iPhone, tap the paper plane, choose Copy link, paste the link into nzlny in Safari and tap Download, then move the video from Files to Photos. You don't need another app or your Instagram login. The Reel saves as an MP4 with its sound.

How to download

  1. In Instagram, tap the paper plane and then Copy link.

  2. Open nzlny.com in Safari, tap Paste, then Download.

  3. Tap Download video, then in Files use Share › Save Video.

The only extra step on iPhone is that Safari puts downloads in the Files app. This guide covers that step, photos and carousels, and what to do when Instagram opens nzlny in its own built-in browser.

Step-by-step guide

Copy the Reel link

Open the Reel in Instagram. Tap the paper plane icon (Share) and then Copy link. For a post in the feed, use the same icon under the post. The link looks like https://www.instagram.com/reel/… and works as it is, including any text after the question mark.

Download in Safari

Open Safari and go to nzlny.com. Tap Paste, then Download. When the preview appears, tap Download video and confirm if Safari asks. The Reel is saved as an MP4 to Files, in the Downloads folder.

Save the Reel to Photos

Open the Files app, go to Downloads and tap the video. Tap the Share button and choose Save Video. The Reel now appears in Photos, where you can share or edit it like any other video.

Photos and carousels

For a photo post, tap Download photo, or Download all photos for a carousel ZIP. In Files, tap the ZIP to unpack it, open each image and use Share › Save Image. Video slides in a carousel save as MP4, just like a Reel.

If it doesn't work

If you opened nzlny from a link inside Instagram, it may be running in Instagram's built-in browser, where downloads fail. Tap Open in browser. Private accounts and Stories are not supported. If a download button has expired, paste the Reel link again.
