These Terms are an agreement between you and Eslam El-Refae, the individual in Cairo, Egypt, who runs nzlny ("nzlny", "we", "us"). By using nzlny.com or any of its language versions (the "Service") you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Copyright Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. What nzlny is
nzlny is a free web tool that, at your request, retrieves a publicly available post from TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or X (Twitter) and lets you save its video, images or audio to your own device. nzlny does not host, publish, index or search content, does not keep copies of the files you save, and only works with content that anyone can view without logging in.
nzlny is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by TikTok, ByteDance, Instagram, Facebook, Meta Platforms, X Corp. or any other platform. TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X are trademarks of their respective owners and are named here only to describe which links the tool accepts.
2. Who may use it
You must be at least 13 years old, or older if your country sets a higher minimum age for using online services without a parent's consent. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
3. Your responsibility for what you save
Posts belong to the people who made them and to other rights-holders, such as the owners of music used in a video. Saving a copy with nzlny gives you no rights in it. You agree that you will:
- use the Service only for content you own, content you have permission to save, content in the public domain or under a licence that allows it, or uses your local law permits (for example a single private copy for personal use, or quotation, criticism, news reporting or research where your law allows them);
- not re-upload, publish, sell, broadcast or otherwise commercially exploit saved content without the rights-holder's permission, and credit the creator when you share with permission;
- respect the creator's choices, including any platform setting that disables downloads;
- follow the terms of the platform the content comes from, to the extent they apply to you;
- not use saved content to harass, impersonate, defame, dox, stalk or exploit anyone, or to create deceptive or manipulated media.
You alone are responsible for how you use anything you save.
4. Things you must not do
- try to access private, deleted, age-restricted, paid, subscriber-only or login-only content, or any content you are not allowed to view;
- submit links to content that sexualises minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or other content that is illegal to possess or distribute; we report such content to the authorities where required;
- use bots, scripts, scrapers or other automated means to send requests, or go beyond reasonable personal use (bulk or programmatic use needs our written agreement);
- resell, frame or white-label the Service, or build a product or API on top of it;
- interfere with, overload, probe or bypass the security or rate limits of the Service, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows;
- use the Service in breach of any law, including copyright, privacy and data-protection law.
We may block requests, links, a creator's content, networks or countries, and suspend access, to enforce these Terms, protect rights-holders or comply with the law.
5. Copyright complaints
We respect intellectual property. Creators and rights-holders can ask us to block content from being retrieved through nzlny by following our Copyright Policy. We act on valid notices promptly and block access for anyone we find repeatedly using the Service to infringe.
6. Advertising and third-party links
The Service is free. It shows no advertising at the moment; we may introduce ads later, and if we do, ad cookies will only be used with your consent where the law requires it, as described in the Privacy Policy. Ads and links to other websites come from third parties; we do not endorse them and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.
7. Our name and site
The nzlny name, logo, site design, text and code belong to us or are licensed to us. You may link to the Service, but you may not copy the site, use our name or logo to suggest endorsement, or register confusingly similar names.
8. Availability and changes to the Service
The Service depends on third-party platforms that can change or block access at any time. We may change, limit or stop any part of the Service at any time, without notice and without liability.
9. No warranty
The Service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any file will be available, complete or of a particular quality, and we exclude all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill or content, arising from your use of the Service or of anything you save with it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.
11. Your responsibility to us
To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from claims by third parties, including rights-holders and platforms, caused by your breach of these Terms or your misuse of content you saved.
12. Ending use
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if the law or a valid rights-holder request requires it. Sections 3, 7 and 9 to 14 continue to apply afterwards.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and significant changes will be announced on the Service before they apply. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring proceedings in your local courts. Before starting a formal dispute, please write to hello@nzlny.com so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days.
