nzlny is a free web tool for downloading public TikTok, Instagram, X (Twitter) and Facebook posts. You paste a link, and nzlny gives you the post's video, photos or sound as files you can save on iPhone, Android, Windows or Mac. There is no app to install and no account to create.
The name
"nzlny" comes from the Egyptian Arabic word نزّلني (nazzilni), which means "download me". That is the whole idea of the brand: one box where a post asks to be saved, and you save it.
Who runs it
nzlny is an independent project run by Eslam El-Refae, an individual based in Cairo, Egypt. It runs on Cloudflare's network and is available in 24 languages, including Arabic in six regional versions (Modern Standard, Egyptian, Saudi, Moroccan, Tunisian and Algerian).
How it works
- Copy the link of a public post from the app's Share button (or the browser's address bar).
- Paste it into nzlny. The tool detects the platform and fetches the public post.
- Tap a download button to save the file. Files pass through nzlny to your device and are not stored on our servers.
What it supports
- TikTok: videos without the watermark (the original file, in HD when available), photo slideshows (each image in full size, or all of them as a ZIP), the sound as MP3, and Stories shared as a link. Full tiktok.com links and short vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com links work.
- Instagram: Reels, feed videos, single photos and carousels (every slide, or all photos as a ZIP), from public accounts. No Instagram login is ever asked for.
- X (Twitter): videos in the best quality X stores, GIFs (saved as MP4) and photos in original size. Both x.com and twitter.com links work.
- Facebook: public videos and Reels, in HD or SD when Facebook provides them, including fb.watch links.
On Android, nzlny can be installed as a web app and receive links straight from an app's Share menu. On iPhone, downloads go to the Files app, from where you can save videos to Photos.
What it does not do
- No private content: private accounts, friends-only posts, private groups and anything that needs a login cannot be downloaded.
- No Instagram Stories or highlights.
- No YouTube, and no other platforms beyond the four above.
- No live streams while they are still live, and no X Spaces.
- No hosting: nzlny does not publish, index or keep copies of the content you download.
Principles
- Respect for creators. Save only content you own or have permission to use, and credit the creator when you share. Creators can ask us to block their content; see the Copyright Policy.
- Privacy. No sign-up, no social-media login, and no tracking cookie unless you accept it. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
- Independence. nzlny is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by TikTok, ByteDance, Instagram, Facebook, Meta Platforms or X Corp.
