FDown not working? Common reasons
When a download fails, the cause is often the link or the post rather than the site. Check these first:
- Short links: app links such as vm.tiktok.com or fb.watch first have to open the full post. nzlny follows them for you.
- Private posts: posts from private accounts, groups or close-friends lists can't be downloaded by a public tool, nzlny included.
- In-app browsers: downloads often fail inside the TikTok, Instagram or Facebook app. Open the site in Safari or Chrome instead.
- Region or age limits: some posts are blocked in certain countries or need a login, and then they can't be fetched.
- Old download buttons: download links expire after a while. On nzlny, paste the post link again to get fresh buttons.

Is nzlny the same as FDown?
No. nzlny is an independent tool run by one person in Cairo, Egypt. It is not connected to FDown or to any social media platform.
Is nzlny free? Do I need an account?
Yes, it is free, and there is nothing to sign up for. Paste a link and download.
Does nzlny work on iPhone?
Yes. Open nzlny in Safari, paste the link and tap Download. The file goes to Files › Downloads, and from there you can save it to Photos.
Which links can I paste?
Public posts from TikTok, Instagram (Reels, videos, photos and carousels), X (videos, GIFs and photos) and Facebook (videos and Reels). Private posts, Instagram Stories and YouTube are not supported.
Is it legal to download videos?
Only download content you own or have permission to use, and respect the creator's rights. nzlny is meant for personal use of public posts.
